Our small-group Dolphin Kids encounters are specially designed for children ages four through nine and guided by expert marine mammal specialists who ensure a safe and fun experience. In this hands-on program, children wearing life jackets enter a specially designed shallow water pool where they are welcomed by the unique vocalizations of our highly trained Pacific Bottlenose dolphins. Parents can relax and watch from the observation area, knowing that all our marine mammal encounter programs, including Dolphin Kids, have an excellent safety record. During the encounter, children have the chance to pet and hug the dolphins, explore their fascinating anatomy up close, shake fins, and even receive a wet dolphin kiss—an unforgettable moment that kids absolutely love. This program combines education, interaction, and fun, creating a magical experience that introduces young children to the wonders of marine life in a safe and supportive environment.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Dolphins Swimming School! From start to finish, everything was organized, professional, and welcoming. Andrew, the organizer, was brilliant — super responsive, helpful, and made sure everything ran smoothly. He went above and beyond to accommodate our schedule and ensure we felt comfortable and informed before every session. Zara, our instructor, was amazing! She’s patient, encouraging, and clearly passionate about teaching. Her calm and friendly approach made learning to swim so much easier and more enjoyable. She has a real gift for building confidence in the water, no matter your skill level. Thanks to Andrew and Zara, our daughter has made real progress and actually looks forward to every lesson! My daughter started lessons less than a year ago and has come on leaps and bounds. Her confidence in the water has improved immensely. Small class sizes have helped her greatly as there is more 1 on 1 with the teacher. The swim camps during school holidays are brilliant also. Both lessons and camps are good value for money also.
